Happy Friday everyone! We hope your week has been a good one. It’s certainly been busy for us! So we’re going to relax with a bottle of strawberry infused water today.

With its powerful ability to lower blood pressure and increase HDL (good cholesterol), the strawberry is one of the most heart-healthy fruits out there. It’s also a valuable ally during flu season as it is a significant source of potassium, calcium, and vitamin C for supporting your immune system.

Like most of their cousins in the rose family, strawberries have a tangy-sweet flavor profile. Try pairing strawberry slices with a splash of rosewater and vanilla bean extract in your next infusion at home to heighten how you experience drinking your water. When you take a moment to taste the essence of each subtle flavor, you’ll appreciate the sense of mindfulness they bring to the act of staying hydrated.

We love a strawberry infusion’s soothing effect on any post-workout activity, meditation, or yoga practice. But if you want to wake up the mixture a little, you might add a sprig of fresh mint and/or lime.
